MSPT Returns to Potawatomi Casino for the 2019 Milwaukee Poker Open April 4-7

 

From April 4-7, the MSPT will be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the first stop of Season 10. It’s there that the 2019 MSPT Milwaukee Poker Open will play out. The $1,100 buy-in, $300K GTD Main Event will offer three starting flights beginning with Day 1A on Thursday, April 4.

The 1B and 1C flights will be held on Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 respectively. The surviving players from all flights will return at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 7 and play down to a winner.

The MSPT visited Potawatomi back in November for the 2018 MSPT Wisconsin State Poker Championship, which drew 748 entries to become the largest major poker tournament ($1,000+ buy-in) in Wisconsin history. Brett Halan of Naperville, IL, who broke through for his first MSPT cash, won for a career-high $144,812.

With 1,658 entries, last July’s MSPT $350 Regional Event tied the record for the largest ever held in Wisconsin. Eric Barnes won that tournament where first place paid $80,648.

Potawatomi Hotel is offering MSPT players a room rate of just $139/night for this upcoming event, this rate is available April 3-8.
