The $5,000 buy-in, $1 million guarantee MSPT Venetian Main Event attracted 125 runners on Day 1, and only 48 of them bagged for Day 2 action. Another 53 entrants entered today, making a total of 178 entries.

After a little over nine levels of play on Day 2, just ten players remain with the GPI’s #5 ranked player Alex Foxen and his bag of 984,000 leading the way. Aussie pro Kahle Burns (769,000), MSPT bestbet Regional Champ Blake Whittington (760,000) and two-time WSOP bracelet winner Kristen Bicknell (729,000) are all close behind.

Meanwhile WSOP bracelet winner Joey Weissman (482,000), partypoker MILLIONS Germany runner-up Pavel Plesuv (420,000) and high stakes tournament phenom Jake Schindler (418,000) all sit with comfortable stacks. Phong “Turbo” Nguyen (302,000), Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford (263,000) and David Malka (214,000) round out our final table.

Eighteen players got paid, meaning plenty of players hit the rail short of a cash including actress and WSOP bracelet winner Jennifer Tilly, 2013 WSOP Main Event champ Ryan Riess, former MSPT champs Rodger Johnson and Josh Reichard, WSOP bracelet winners Taylor Paur, Ryan D’Angelo, and Thomas Cannuli, high-stakes poker pro and commentator Olivier Busquet, and the bubble boy Jack Duong.

Once the bubble burst, a few players took home a cash before the night came to a close including WSOP bracelet winners Sam Soverel (18th - $14,000) and Elio Fox (17th - $14,000), Josias Santos (14th - $16,000), Robin Hegele (13th - $16,000) and Dylan Linde (11th - $19,000).

Day 3 will kick off at 2 p.m. local time on Sunday and play down to a winner. Not only will we capture the action here in the live updates, we will be live streaming the action on our RFID table complete with hole cards and commentary. Be sure to tune in and catch all the action as the remaining 10 players shoot for the $270,000 first-place prize!
