Sergio Mireles Doubles Through Michael Woznicki

Sergio Mireles limped in from the small blind, and Michael Woznicki checked his option in the big blind.

Mireles bet 100,000 on the flop, and Woznicki called.

Mireles checked the turn, and Woznicki bet 200,000. Mireles thought for a while, then called.

On the river, Mireles jammed for 625,000, which prompted Woznicki to stand up, then kneel in his chair, cracking his knuckles.

“I think you missed...” Woznicki said. He called after a few more seconds, and Mireles turned over for a rivered pair of aces. Woznicki was forced to show his , and he was left with just a 250,000. He doubled up the next hand with his sevens besting the threes of Michael Campbell, but he now sits as the short stack after starting the level with half the chips in play.
