Day 1B at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN is complete, another 204 runners packed the 2nd floor tournament room creating a two-flight total of 373 entrants. 

 

58 players will join the remaining 56 from Flight 1A leaving us 114 battling for a $95,328 first place prize.  The top 36 will get paid.

Its been an action-packed, exciting week here at Cantebury Park in Shakopee, MN and Flight 1A of the $1,100 Main Event was no different. 

 

169 runners entered the first flight on Friday evening with an even larger field anticipated for Saturday’s Day 1B.  56 players advanced to Sunday’s Day 2.

The PokerNews Mid-States Poker Tour is getting geared up for its 4th consecutive season at Northern Lights Casino in Walker, MN.  This beauiful tourist town has long been a favorite to MSPT players for its post-poker festivities in addition to all the action on the felt.  The MSPT will invade Northern Lights May 11-19, with $60 Super Satellites running every Thursday until the event begins.

Another exciting day complete at Meskwaki Casino for the PokerNews Mid-States Poker Tour.  Day 1B attracted 176 runners creating a Main Event total of 342 entrants and a $342,700 prize pool – the second largest field ever in the state of Iowa for a $1K+ event.  The largest ever was the MSPT event at Meskwaki one year ago which drew 349.

 

Of the 176 in Day 1B, 58 bagged chips to advance. 56 survive
