Josh Turner raised to 125,000 from the button and Norman Straughn opted to defend his big blind.

When the flop came down , Straughn check-called a bet of 140,000 and then promptly checked the turn. Turner slid out a bet of 260,000, and that did the trick as Straughn released.

Turner is slowly but surely closing the gap between him and chip leader Adam Wilbur.
